Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are always worried about getting sick and we want to avoid spreading the germs. We will use the wipes to make sure the tables and dry erase boards and pens are always clean.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where people are not always safe, not even in a classroom.

We have lockdown drills often and there is a high school and alley right out our window. The blackout curtains will be rolled up but it will be immediately pulled down in case of an emergency so no one can see in.

We also have our earthquake drills so children know where to go and know what to do if they are in the classroom. They know where the bandaids are but our emergency bag needs the ice packs as well as the Emergency Fire Blanket. We have had our fire drill go over numerous times and having this blanket is a sense of security.

Being proactive and prepared is so important!
