My Students

For the 2021-2022 school year, I will continue teaching 3rd-grade math and science at a Title I school. I have 37 students between my two classrooms.

Having the right tools equipped in my classroom will make daily tasks easier because I can focus more of my time on instructional needs.

My Project

For this project, I am first requesting a bulk of disposable masks that will be more suitable for kids. It is very common for a student's mask to break or may get dirty. Having these handy in my classroom will make it easier for students to have access to them if needed. Getting the kids' size pack also ensures that the masks will fit the students. The second part of this project that I am requesting is water bottle holders. Due to COVID, we are not using water fountains at the moment. Each student has to have their own water bottle. Due to accidentally falling off of the desks or floor, these water bottles can create loud noises or big spills in the middle of class. This causes a great distraction. I am asking for 5 packs of the Really Good Stuff Anti Spill Water Bottle Holders. Each pack includes 4 of these water bottle holders. They fit around the chair which makes it very convenient for the students. They will be able to have access to them all day while having fewer spills and breakage.

I am confident that these wellness supplies will be of great use in the classroom while also keeping them safe.
