Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am seeking support for our public campaign aimed at funding 400 solar eclipse sunglasses for April's highly anticipated solar eclipse event. I am committed to providing our students with enriching and transformative learning experiences, and witnessing a solar eclipse is an awe-inspiring opportunity that can ignite their curiosity about this event.

These sunglasses will be distributed among the eager young minds who will gather to witness the solar eclipse together, creating an atmosphere of excitement and learning.

With these specialized tools, our students will be able to observe the celestial mechanics of an eclipse up close, fostering a deeper understanding of astronomy, Earth's place in the solar system, and the captivating wonders of the universe. They will learn about the science behind solar and lunar alignments, grasp the significance of these rare occurrences, and appreciate the importance of safeguarding their vision during such celestial phenomena.

Your generous contribution will enable us to create a lasting impact on the educational journey of our students, inspiring a lifelong passion for science and space exploration. Together, we can spark their curiosity and open doors to new horizons.
