My Project

Project Summary:

Our school is in need of essential safety items to ensure the well-being of our students and staff in case of emergencies.

By funding this project, you will help us acquire crucial safety equipment such as a black-out curtain for lockdown situations, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and a CPR mask. These items are vital for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for everyone in our school community.

Items to be Funded:

Black-out Curtain: According to the National Center for Education Statistics, during the 2017-2018 school year, 95% of public schools conducted lockdown drills. Having a black-out curtain can provide additional security during these drills and real lockdown situations.

Fire Extinguisher: The National Fire Protection Association reports that U.S. fire departments respond to an average of 3,570 structure fires in educational properties each year. Having a fire extinguisher on hand is crucial for immediate response to any fire incidents that may occur within the school premises.

First Aid Kit: A stocked first aid kit will enable us to promptly attend to any injuries or medical emergencies that may arise during school hours.

CPR Mask: The American Heart Association states that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim's chance of survival. A CPR mask is a crucial tool for administering CPR safely.
