Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The future belongs to our children. It is inevitable that they will rise up and lead, now is the chance to help them gain momentum as they discover the world around them.

My students are artists, change makers, and innovators!

Where adults see problems my students can find solutions. They recently created heat packs to donate to a local animal shelter.

My Project

Teaching in the COVID era means that we have to be especially careful of how students utilize supplies and eliminate the community supplies that we are accustomed to.

Students in lower grades often work at tables and do not have a desk in which to store their supplies, hence the magical seat pockets!

Receiving these items will help to ensure the safety of our second graders, and our ability to keep our students in the classroom!

Clorox wipes will allow us to quickly sanitize areas that are high touch and will hopefully mitigate the spread of germs.
