My Students

My students are some of the most compassionate and accepting students that I have ever met. Each year, I see kids reach out to those they might not otherwise serve and love. Their example is powerful in my life. We may not have the best or nicest school in the district, but I believe my students deserve the best.

COVID has impacted my class and students in a huge way.

I teach High School Culinary and have faced a very different set of challenges as school has shifted back and forth online. It has left me with perishable food supplies that I have had to donate. COVID has made sourcing soap and paper towels challenging at times and with inflation, has taken a huge chunk of my budget.

My Project

Students need a safe and clean environment to learn in. By purchasing the items in my cart, I am able to better provide that. I can then use my limited budget to buy the other supplies (food) that they need to get the learning experience that they need and deserve.

With the supply chain being disrupted and prices going up, these items will help offset the rising costs of a classroom.

They will allow me to focus on the most important items that my students need to learn in a healthy environment.
