Safe Stations

Help me give my students materials for math and reading small groups such as the Math instant learning centers. These are easy to clean materials that will give students plenty of options!

My Students

My students represent a range of learning styles and academic levels. While some are learning to read, others are still working on forming the correct sounds. What I have found is that letting them be creative and learn through their experiences unites us as a classroom community. It also pulls out individual students' strengths and helps each student take initiative in their learning.

This group has lost an important chunk of learning time, and now more than ever, they need to be able to come to a safe classroom stocked with materials that excite them to learn!

I want the return to school to be joyous, and I want to be ready with supplies to support them in a safe way. Giving them opportunities to still learn in stations will be important to recover lost time!

My Project

The materials I picked will be used to allow students to participate in safe stations. For example, the instant math centers will give students enough choices per child so that they do not need to share. During the Covid-19, it is even more important to have station materials for individual use that are easy to clean.

I am very excited to use the "Phonics Sentence Match" to give students a hands on way to practice their reading.

These wipeable boards have enough materials for each student to use their own during station time!
