Safe Space to Learn!

Help me give my students choices for flexible seating, books, and headphones in my primary special education classroom! Many will benefit from having choice seating with the cube chairs and yoga balls.

My Project

I am a first year teacher in a special education classroom, my students range from ages 5-7 and for many this is their first year with a full day of school after preschool! To help my classroom be a welcoming environment for my students that can meet their needs, provide comfort, and remove barriers for success, I am asking for items including flexible seating, which allows my students to feel comfortable in their learning environment so they are ready to learn! I have also added some preferred books that my students love. as well as noise canceling headphones. Loud noises can sometimes disrupt their peace and create an environment that is hard to focus in. These headphones are a great tool for students who like it a little more calm and quiet!
