This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Social and Emotional Learning. The importance of social and emotional learning is so students can learn how to better communicate, name and regulate their emotions, handle stress, manage their behavior and ultimately learn how to be mindful humans who are aware of how their words, emotions and actions can have an effect on the life they live and other people. The safe space will allow students to feel safe enough to express themselves. Mindful activities - Meditation - Breathwork - Sound Therapy will be incorporated into lessons.
