My Project

I am a K-4 resource teacher. I have a variety of students. Most of them have sensory issues and need an area to calm down and feel safe and welcome. I am setting room to provide a safe space where the students can learn academics and well as strategies to self sooth and feel calm.

The rug and soft lighting and fidgets will help the students have a calming corner.

The clipboards will give the students the ability to sit anywhere in the room. The materials will give students the opportunity to engage in hands on learning and give flexible seating while keeping the room organized and student friendly.
