Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every child can learn and grow. Our special needs preschoolers are growing up and becoming successful big kids. They're almost ready to go to kindergarten! Preschool is such an exciting time where children learn basic skills like singing ABCs, as well as developing their own personalities. You can see who is going to be shy and who is going to be the class clown.

Preschool is a child's first educational experience!

Preschoolers have such excitement to show people what they've learned and mastered. Play-Doh becomes ice cream and empty tissue boxes become blocks.

My Project

This project is to give my students their own cubby to put their belongings in. Right now we are currently using tubs to gather all their belongings in. This allows them to touch and comingle. Not a good idea when there is Covid going around.

A set of cubbies would allow the childrens stuff to be separated from their peers.

Having cubbies give each student a sense or responsibility and safety. There is also the benefit of not allowing students belongings getting mixed up. So no more children taking the wrong jacket home. That would be awesome. This piece of furniture is so needed for my classroom. Furniture is expensive and our district is tight on money. I'm sure all districts are. Please help us make our cubby dream come true.
