This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Real hands-on lab experience is our science goal. My students love to engage and experience a lab that is both meaningful and allows them to lead while being safe. In our chemistry class, we celebrate scientific leadership and ownership. Students love reporting what they did and how they did it.

Help me engage students in even more opportunities to learn chemistry by allowing students to use safe micro-burners as a heat source.

Our science experience can be hugely impacted by providing students with a safer alternative to science labs that require heat. We need a burner that is safe and easy to use. Please help us achieve this goal of continuing to engage in science experiments that require heat with an easy-to-use and safe micro and portable burner for our labs.
