This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The kids are working on Rube Goldberg Machines but cardboard for the backdrop just isn't sturdy enough.
Up to six teams will be building a Rube Goldberg Machine with the challenge being join them all up together to make a monster Rube Goldberg Machine.
The larger sheets of plywood is for an upcycle project to replace damaged and aging bottle cap murals that were created six years ago. This time the students are going to help with designing them. The whole school will support with sending plastic caps and lids of all sizes in. Once created, they will hang in our courtyard garden as wall art to spruce up the place, add some color in that students created.
