Help me give my students hands on experience grooming dogs, cats and small animals. We are purchasing a grooming table, clippers and a hair dryer like professionals use in order to give students authentic, transferable, experience.

My Project

This project will compliment my Animal Science 2- Companion Animal and Veterinary Assistant classes. They will use the materials to properly groom and examine dogs and cats (primarily). This is part of our curriculum and having professional equipment will give them the hands-on experience and transferable skills needed to work in a grooming salon, veterinary office and/or kennel.

The goal of my class is to provide practical, hands-on, experience that will transfer to the real world and provide a solid foundation regardless of what career my students decide to pursue.
