Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach a variety of gifted students all throughout the district. Many of them have some hidden talents that they would love to show off if we had the right recess equipment. My hope is that my learners can release some of their built-up energy from the classroom and release it in a healthy way by using some fun and new recess equipment. With your help, my students can play football, basketball, baseball, hula hoop, and more. Who knows, some students may even find that they are interested in things they have never tried before.
