Exploration Time is the always the favorite activity of each and every day! The hands-on resources in this project encourage imaginative and creative play while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork among my first students. \r\n\r\nThe Picasso Magnetic Blocks are always a very popular choice in my classroom during Exploration Time. My students were thrilled to learn that we would be getting more blocks when our project was fully funded. Only to be slightly disappointed when the achromatic (black, white, and gray) sets sold out. They were really looking forward to building a whole family of pandas! So, I will definitely submit another project to add more achromatic blocks next year. \r\n\r\nI am truly amazed at the teamwork and collaboration that my students exhibit when they build with Magnetic Blocks. The attached pictures highlight my students' ability to follow directions to create the objects, people, and animals in the Idea Book. \r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students have the opportunity to engage in activities that promote both learning and fun, while helping them discover new interests and develop a deeper understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. \r\nThe impact of your donation will be felt for years to come as it helps inspire and shape young minds in engaging and meaningful ways.","fullyFundedDate":1733229547544,"projectUrl":"project/inspiring-all-learners-through-explorati/8435289/","projectTitle":"Inspiring All Learners Through Exploration Time!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Woods","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1428626_orig.jpg?crop=271,271,x16,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659908200810","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1428626"},{"teacherId":8562276,"projectId":7047865,"letterContent":"The Lego Robotics Prime kits donated to our classroom has been the highlight of our school year. Student engagement and motivation in STEM has increased tremendously as the students have become more excited about learning coding, engineering, and technology. Students have also been able to experience more active learning through experimentation, trial-and-error, and making abstract concepts more tangible to them individually.\r\nThe Lego SPIKE Prime kit has also helped bridge the gap between our under-resourced center and access to technology that we otherwise could not afford. Over three-quarters of my students were able to experience the excitement and challenge of Lego robotics for the first time ever. Such early exposure to modern technology will have long-term effects on my students' academic and career interests.\r\nI can not wait to see how much further my students go with robotics next year as they continue to grow in critical thinking and problem solving, teamwork and collaboration, and technical skills in programming, engineering principles, and digital literacy.","fullyFundedDate":1670262133773,"projectUrl":"project/watch-us-create-and-code-with-lego/7047865/","projectTitle":"Watch Us Create and Code With LEGO!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Freeman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8562276_orig.jpg?crop=2170,2170,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746036593697","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kmfreeman"},{"teacherId":4228592,"projectId":8752369,"letterContent":"I hope this message finds you well.\r\n\r\nI am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of logic games to our classroom.
