Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning stations is one of our favorite parts of the day. After new skills are introduced, our students are split into small groups to help them build upon those skills and also reinforce what they need at their level. During each station, students are working on reading, writing, phonics, listening, and interactive learning.
"Fact: Collaborative learning has been shown to result in higher student achievement, higher self-esteem, and higher motivation." My students absolutely love small group learning, and I'm hoping that the materials requested will help them to be even more successful during this part of the day.
The stools will be a great addition to our teacher table, which is when they meet with me to work on the specific skills they need to be a successful reader. All of the other materials requested will also be used throughout the various stations and help students stay more organized. Thank you for your consideration towards this project.
