Romeo and Juliet Support Books and........... Various Dreams of Mine!
Help me give my students some supplies like Romeo and Juliet books in Spanish and Graphic novels that will help enhance their classroom experience and fund some of my other dreams as well!
I always love bringing "extra" to my high school campus. I want students to have feel and become successful. This is where the idea for all of my dreams come from!
I am planning to use my materials to help students get more out of school.
I am in charge of AVID awards this year. My costs are $175 for a sash and pins for 40 students. I would like to be able to recognize these students. In order for me to pay for these awards, I need to raise the money. I already have some of the materials that I need to make shave ice during one of our fundraisers. The only thing I could use is more syrup. This activity will allow students to advertise, budget, plan, and collaborate to make this fundraiser successful.
My main idea is to make sure that I am supporting all of my students. I have four students who are reading Romeo and Juliet in my regular English class and don't speak English. I would like extra supports like Romeo and Juliet books in Spanish as well as graphic novels. I think this well help them a lot in understanding Shakespeare. It's already very hard for native English speakers. My first dream is to make it a little bit easier for this new English Learners.
I would love to replenish some of the things that students use in my classroom every day like plates, forks, etc. I always enjoy when I get to have drinks for them to enjoy as well. They are always thirsty.
School supplies are a must. I am also asking for big post-it posters for group work, and whiteout for all of life's mistakes. Thank you for supporting me and my students!
