My Project

Students in my self-contained classroom are special education students on various levels of academic success. We use anchor charts and dry erase boards to help them learn and participate in groups for Math, Reading, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. We only have one white board in the classroom that has other permanent items posted, making our space very limited and not directly in front of the students.

A rolling magnetic, dry erase board with the ability to hang charts is just what our class needs.

It will allow me to move with the class within our room whether it is in front of the whole group, small group or next to an individual who may need additional instruction. It will provide us the opportunity to take instruction into other parts of the building or outside on a nice day.

Many of my students enjoy drawing on the dry erase boards together during free times and do not always have that opportunity on our one board due to limited space. The rolling dry erase board can be used anywhere in the room for them to enjoy. This dry erase board and the chart paper will provide many different opportunities to my wonderful special needs students.
