Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project will help the students not only receive a break and release their frustrations but will also allow them to feel a sense of leadership when sitting in the rolling chair.

Everyday for approximately 10 minutes students have a Social Emotional Learning period where they are able to become more aware of their emotions and how to manage them.

However throughout the day, many students need breaks and being able to sit in the rolling chair not only gives them this break but also allows them to feel as if they are one of the adults.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
