My Project

Many classrooms do not have built in storage for materials like textbooks or novels. This means teachers are responsible for creating functional storage space for books while also making sure those materials are not being damaged. Many times, teachers are left with less than ideal storage options that are not easily accessible to students.

My classroom is filled with student reading material like textbooks, novels, library books, and more!

We read every single day in my classroom, and my students need a better place to store their reading materials. Right now, we stack books up on the teacher desk and two other tables. That means those tables are not accessible for work spaces which is their intended purpose.

The three book carts requested for this project will provide functional storage space for our class textbooks, class novels, and independent reading books. These carts can be easily moved anywhere in the classroom to make them more accessible to students.
