This project will bring rolling standing desks into our classroom, giving students the freedom to choose how they learn best — standing tall for presentations, pairing up for peer discussions, or shifting across the room to collaborate on group projects.
I’m also requesting a tall, ergonomic teacher chair to pair with my podium-style desk, so I can model active teaching while having comfortable support during small group instruction or grading.
These items will:
Encourage movement and reduce restlessness

Make transitions between tasks smoother
Enhance student engagement during collaborative work
Reinforce a modern, flexible classroom layout
With these desks, we can easily rearrange the classroom to accommodate debates, research stations, or project-based learning.
