My Students

The students at our high school are a wonderful group of students. They are creative, thoughtful, and full of energy!

Our high school students love creating hands-on art projects, critiquing art, and collaborating with their classmates while learning about art history!

Our school is southwest of Oklahoma City. It has been considered a rural area, but new subdivisions have been popping up, increasing and diversifying our student population. Students come to school every day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow personally and as artists.

My Project

We have all of our art supplies stored in metal cabinets that are closed. Students are not able to see or have immediate access to collections. With rolling carts, art supplies for each project will be readily accessible and can move with ease around the classroom.

By supplying rolling carts for our art room, you will help our room to become organized and functional.

Students will get the supplies they need quickly and effortlessly, allowing more energy and effort to be applied to their artwork.

With a hangable file storage system, students will be able to access resources and assignments independently.

We were also awarded a grant and could purchase watercolor, colored pencils. They need plastic containers so they can be passed out to tables efficiently.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
