This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students were fortunate enough to get five cameras last year from generous donations. These cameras were amazing. The students were so impressed and excited with the quality of the video, but struggled with capturing audio that was clear enough. We are looking to complement those cameras with better quality mics so that they can get clearer sound on their projects. This would be a great opportunity for students to really see the impact of audio in their stories. It would also introduce them to other avenues of employment, such as podcast work, audiobooks and recording for accessibility purposes.
