When our students first saw them, they were genuinely excited and couldn't wait to sit outside with their friends. Seeing them use the space and enjoy it has been such a wonderful reminder that sometimes the things that seem small can have a really meaningful impact.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our courtyard has become more than just an outdoor space—it is becoming a place where our students can feel comfortable, connect, and take a much-needed break during their busy school day. We are also excited to use the courtyard as an outdoor learning space, giving students opportunities to work together on projects, have class discussions, read, and learn in a different environment. Thanks to your help, I was able to start off the school year with all 180 students with the supplies that you see in the photos attached! \r\n\r\nThe pencil pouch picture is what was given to each student to place in their math binders, which were either provided by donations to my school from other sources or the few students who already had them to use. No student is without a pencil pouch filled with: No. 2 pencils, a red red correction pencil, a correction pen, a highlighter, 2 ball point pens, a clear 6 inch ruler, a 4-pack of color pencils and a Yoobi eraser.
