Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our podcast team is growing once again! Our after-school club started a podcast series in which team members interview members of our school and local communities. To date, we have completed 18 episodes and have interviewed teachers, principals, our superintendent, and even our city's last two mayors! This year, our podcast team is expanding to interview and reach more people.

The resources in this project will be used to enhance our middle school podcast for the upcoming school year!

The new microphones will help to improve our audio quality on the podcast. The felt corkboard and LED lights will be used by students to design, build, and create a background set for our episodes. This will help our show look more professional and will provide an opportunity for students to be creative in their design. The equipment organizer will help us to organize all of our microphones, audio cords, USB drives, and more.

Our student teams have created an ambitious list of potential interviews/guests for this year and these resources will help us make this a reality. Be sure to check our podcast out on our YouTube channel!
