Our Social Studies class studies ancient civilizations while developing essential skills including: citing evidence in argumentative written responses, participating in fishbowl discussions, participating in historical investigations and Project Based Learning assignments, and much more! Our classroom is not your normal classroom as it includes couches, bean bags, leather chairs, high top seating options, LED strip lighting, four TVs for student use, a LEGO wall, and a student art wall gallery. The goal for our classroom, Cafe Social Studies, is to create a welcoming and exciting environment for students to explore, discover, and create history.
