My Project

Throughout the day, students go through a variety of emotions and experiences. Sometimes those emotions can get too big to handle! Our school is creating a sensory based reset room to help those students when they have those big emotions. This reset room will be a place for students to visit briefly to calm down, regulate, and get back to class to keep learning!

These items will give students a variety of opportunities to calm their brains and bodies through sensory and movement based activities.

Some students may find that they calm down best by doing yoga or playing in a sensory bin. Other students may find that they need to move their bodies on the trampoline or using the exercise dice. Our hope is that we can meet the needs of all the students who visit the reset room through this project.
