Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hungry to learn to read. They want to improve their reading level by using materials to help them learn in a fun and cooperative way.

My students are third grade ELL (English Language Learners) who are learning a new language.

They are eager to learn as much as they can. We don't have the necessary funds to buy these materials. Many of my students live in poverty and are coming to school to better their education for themselves and their families.

My Project

My students will use these materials as a part of their reading time. They will work in cooperative groups and individually to increase their reading strategies and reading fluency. Students will be held accountable for their reading levels in reading class.

By funding this project my students will increase their reading levels as well as their self confidence in learning.

My students will engage in many reading activities in a fun and exciting way using these materials.
