This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello and welcome to room 116! If you were to walk into my classroom you would see students engaged in hands on, collaborative learning. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
In our class, we celebrate our differences and build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.
My diverse set of learners are enthusiastic, hard working, and creative. I believe getting to know and building relationships with each student is critical for their success. As we get to know each other, we work together to accomplish and celebrate their accomplishments!
My Project
The products I have selected will help my students have more effective learning opportunities and differentiated instruction. These products will allow students to work independently, achieve success, and experience a love for learning!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
In order to nurture the love of reading, the bins will help each student have their own set of sorted books based on their interests and on their personalized reading level. The headphones will allow students to listen to stories, watch educational videos, and help implement the use of google classroom, Flipgrid, and other technology without disrupting the other working students in the class.
By implementing these things into my classroom students will be exposed to additional opportunities to shine. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thank you!
