Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are such a fun and lovable group. My students come from varying ethnic backgrounds.
My students light up my world and remind me daily why I chose to become an educator.
I truly appreciate each one of my students. They teach me just as much as I teach them. My students have a variety of learning styles that are as varied as they are. My classroom is very diverse; therefore, having a variety of ways to learn is essential.
My Project
As a second year teacher, I am still working my way to provide my students and fill our classroom with meaningful materials that will help enhance our learning. In this project, I am asking for giant rekenrek and class set. This math tool will allow me to model and provide examples for my students in a much larger scale.
Math is a fun and interesting world to explore.
I can begin to make math something my students will enjoy with tools that magnify how engaging it can be in the classroom.
