By having means to create a learning environment that is inviting and creative, my students will be even more excited to come to school. By getting little kids excited about coming to school at an early age will help increase their desire to continue to come to school once they get older. With the handful of iPads, our class is given, we need a safe and secure charging station to ensure students can use this technology all year round. Having a charging station would also introduce the concept of responsibility to the students! The Osmo being asked for would be utilized as a center to introduce and promote the use of technology in the classroom. In addition, the laminator would assist in creating projects for our classroom as we will be learning about holidays around the world next month! Not only will the items being asked for in this project assist in the release of their extra energy throughout the day, but it will also allow them to be less disruptive to others in the class. With multiple types of seating, such as the lap trays and sit spots, they can pick and choose what will work best for them depending on their preference and activity. In addition, the items in this project will allow me to create materials for them that will last for a long time. These students need access to high-quality materials that will enhance their learning in the classroom. I want to ensure that these students are given the best possible learning experience. These children are our future!
