This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help me bring rock climbing to our school! This would be an amazing experience for my students. The traverse wall would teach students the basics of climbing, and hopefully provide inspiration to pursue this hobby in a safe way.

Rock climbing and bouldering gyms have become very popular in the Pittsburgh area.

This activity can teach young students life skills such as perseverance, cooperation, and hard work. In addition, climbing is a great workout and can improve student flexibility, strength, and mobility just to name a few. Thank you for considering donating to this awesome project!
