My Students

My 5th grade students are an inquisitive group who love to bring learning to life! We have a strong and tight knit bond in our classroom. They are kind and supportive to one another.

It is my goal to create a classroom where they feel supported and are able to be open and honest about their needs as they learn and grow.

We have an enthusiastic classroom where students are passionate about their work. They all have the potential to be tomorrow's leaders!

My Project

We need high interest books about the American Revolution to bring this project to life.

Literacy is the heart of our entire classroom.

This project will allow us to integrate literature and social studies. The books will provide multiple perspectives and allow students to further their knowledge about the American Revolution. Students will be able to learn about the American Revolution and present their information through creative projects. Reading these books will build their comprehension and critical thinking skills. These books will help them understand what it means to be an American and how the founders shaped our great nation.
