While these books are specifically designed as diagnostic tools rather than library books, their impact on my ability to teach is immediate. Having these physical copies allows me to sit one-on-one with my students and clearly observe their reading behaviors in a way that simply wasn't possible on a screen.\r\n\r\nWhen a student sits with me to read these printed pages, I can accurately see how they track print and listen to the nuances of their fluency. This tactile experience is essential for a precise assessment; it removes the barriers of screen glare and digital navigation, allowing the student to focus entirely on the task of reading while I focus on their specific instructional needs.\r\n\r\nWith these tools, I have already begun identifying the exact instructional reading levels for my students. This data is the foundation of my classroom, as it allows me to tailor my instruction specifically to what each child requires to grow. Whether that means providing targeted phonics support or moving into more complex comprehension work, I now have a clear, evidence-based roadmap for every learner in the room.\r\n\r\nBy funding this project, you have provided the necessary infrastructure for effective literacy in our classroom. You have ensured that each of my students is truly seen as a reader and supported exactly where they are in their development.
