Rock Stars In Need of Supplies

Help me give my students guitar stands and ukulele picks to help our second-half-of-the-year students have the tools they need to finish strong!

My Project

In our music classroom, we are always making music! During the year, every student in the school comes to music class for a 45 day rotation. We learn instruments like guitar, keyboard, drum set, and ukulele. The students especially love our various electronic instruments, and being able to practice independently with headphones. We end each rotation with a presentation for our families, where students perform the music we've been working on throughout our rotation.

The guitars and ukuleles in our class need picks, stands, and other accessories to help students be successful; but unfortunately, these items wear out quickly, or get lost when the whole school is using them!

In addition, we need individual stands for our guitars so that when we work in small groups or perform, there is a safe place to put them that is easily accessible.

We will use the picks and adapters to practice our guitars and ukuleles both independently and as a whole group. The adapters allow students to work on their music at their level, and wireless headphone adapters mean that the students can use the guitar without being stuck at an amp, and can go anywhere in the room. I know that these materials will be used as soon as they are out of the box, and will help our music class be successful each day!
