Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students created a community service project for our military families. Little did we learn that this project would calm them and create a chain reaction of giving. This project will continue as our campus lacks an Art Teacher.
By supplying my students with the rocks they can create a kindness garden in an area that students are always crossing.
This will help beautify the school and build my students confidence as well as clear their mental health.
The paints are a great variety so they can pick the paint to decorate their rocks. This has changed their use of time, instead of misbehaving they have requested to paint.
