Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our public Early Childhood Center enjoys over 300 smiling faces every day. This project will put robots in multiple early childhood classes. Our children are energetic, curious, creative, inquisitive and innovative. They are excited about STEM! Robots are fun and engage students to communicate, problem solve, think creatively and work cooperatively.

My Project

This project will introduce robots and STEM concepts in playful ways, thereby encouraging them to be excited about further exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!

Children should be exposed to STEM before they can even write the S,T,E, or M!

These robots lend themselves to engaging, active learning of coding concepts and develops a growth mindset. Young learners find robotics fun and will learn coding in a positive way. They will learn to see themselves as scientists, computer programmers, engineers and mathematicians. These robots will help form the foundation of future development and provide a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities.
