My students need storage for all the awesome items provided by donors on this site and through their own fundraising. This way items can be kept safe and found easily during practices and at competitions.
The students at my school come from all over the county to focus on their studies. We don't have all the clubs and teams of a traditional high school, but the students give their all to the few that we do have. One of those teams in the robotics team.
Students have added events and clubs to make it more like a regular high school, including this robotics team.
Their hard work is starting to be recognized as the school was recently named a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.
Our club's success has inspired the addition of a robotics class to the master schedule. Some of these students are also members of the robotics team, others are interested in the field but for personal reasons are able to attend the after-school club.
The drawer storage systems will allow our team to store parts and tools that we have accumulated over the past four years. Currently, parts are in large totes and are difficult to find. We hope the smaller compartments allow us to have more differentiation in terms of the parts we store together.
This item could save time and could mean more awards.
At competitions, we could have as little as five minutes between matches. With our current organization system, it was impossible to make replacements because we had difficulty finding the right pieces or the right tools.
Our current system also doesn't travel well. These items have wheels allowing to go anywhere we are. In fact, at competitions, we could take our tools to other teams to help them.
