The students in our engineering group come from 9th thru 12th grades. They are mostly of Hispanic background and many come from Spanish speaking households. They are excited about engineering. We have had several coding events and the students have jumped at the opportunity to learn coding. They are very committed. Many after-school and weekend hours have been spent either preparing or volunteering at robotics events.
