My Students

The kids who sign up for my class are excited about learning! They want to do the STEM projects and learn about the world around them. Most of the 7th graders will continue on to be in my 8th-grade class.

I have kids who are inquisitive, engaged, and willing to put in the effort to learn the material.

They love to ask questions. The kids have embraced STEM activities and thrive with the hands-on projects. I just LOVE teaching at this school!

I started a robotics club this year. We were using the VEX IQ to learn about robotics and programming. I would like another kit so that I can have two groups doing it together. I am trying to get this funded so we can start gearing up for competition next school year.

My Project

These kids thrive on building things. I want more robotics so they can build and learn to program. The more opportunities I provide for them, the better their STEM education will be. We live in a very competitive world. Our students have to be given the best challenges in order to have that opportunity to learn how to be better problem solvers and critical thinkers. We do so much work during the school day already. To have kids show up after school when they don't need to is such an inspiration to me! I want to be there for those kids who want to keep learning!
