Welcome! I am currently in my 24th year of teaching. I am the science elective teacher at my school. I teach 2 different courses; STEM and AVID this year. I take a lot of ideas off of the internet; basically, any website that shares its ideas for free. There's a lot that needs to be purchased to make my class better. I'm hoping small steps will get me there. I want to make my class as exciting as possible. Having a classroom that gives hands-on opportunities to my students has made teaching enjoyable and learning fun for all. I feel all the technology and innovative kits I have brought into my classroom have had a positive effect on my student's learning and engagement! Having a happy classroom environment is life!
