My Project

Kids love to code. I want to help take them to the next level and have them program robots with kits and mats that reinforce Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies content. I want my students to take their imagination and learning to new heights by creating thinkers and pioneers in the engineering and coding field!

The kids in my school deserve to have experiences that fire the imagination.

These robot accessories will help do just that. Our students don't often get to have some of the hands-on opportunities of larger schools. We are fortunate in that we have i-Pads for kids to use on a daily basis. I want to help them take their learning to the next level and have them do programming that integrates our curriculum. This makes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) real for them.

My students need Ozobot STEM kits and Bee Bo coding mats to use while programming our class robots. They need course/track magnetic tiles, solar system model and teeter totter STEM kits for the Ozobots (line following robots). They need mats to use with Bee Bots that reinforce what we are learning in the classroom. The mats are on Teachers Pay Teachers and are made by classroom teachers! These mats teach kids how to code while reinforcing skills. The students will use these in a variety of ways. They will collaborate, plan, and explore as they code the Bee Bots and learn to draw lines and code for the Ozobots. Most of all, I want kids to love coming to school. I want them to write about their experiences with their robots in their journals and share with families and the community,
