This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is an awesome place to be! My students are extremely energetic and enthusiastic, they surprise me every single day. We have worked really hard together to create a wonderful classroom family and I am lucky enough to be following them to 5th grade next year!

My kids make me proud on a daily basis with their academic growth and the kindness they show one another.

They deserve the world and will be grateful for anything they can get!

My Project

My students don't always have technology readily available to them , and I believe it is important for them to have as much exposure as possible. Our world is rapidly evolving and the majority of my students will have careers that revolve around technology. As an educator I feel a responsibility to immerse them in it as much as possible.

Adding the Sphero Ball and Ozobot to our classroom will allow my students to explore robotics and engage with technology in a fun and innovative way.

They will use these to explore robotics but also to integrate curriculum. For example, the students may participate in a social studies review where they must answer questions in order to move their robot. Not only will this allow them to use technology but it can be a motivator for studying!
