My Students

I teach a group of creative and inquisitive learners and the motto of my STEM class is to learn, innovate and inspire.

In my robotics club, students have shown great aptitude in design thinking and STEM. Even though 90% of students come from a low-income background, they are always ready to learn and create and, in this process, inspire each other and everyone around them. Due to lack of resources, they are unable to realize their latent potential.

My Project

This project is about empowering students through art. With the help of this Lego Mindstorms robot kit, students will create a robot and program it to draw and sketch. They will work on virtual designs and will use programming to link the virtual design to the robot. The program will instruct the robot to sketch the design and bring it to life. This will help them learn the importance of x-y grids and perspective in art.

The project will create a foundation in building and coding robots and, at the same time, help them learn the intricacies of art.

This project is important because students need to look at STEM education and Art education from the same perspective.

We must teach our students the significance of original thinking and creativity, along with logical reasoning. This project will have a huge impact on the lives of students and will inspire them to think logically, as well as creatively.
