Robot Coding in 2nd Grade!

Help me give my students the opportunity to program and problem-solve with a robot!

My Project

Our 2nd-grade students had the unique experience of a school field trip with MOSI (Museum of Science Industry). Each pair of children were instructed on an iPad on how to use the Dash coding program to create commands for their robot.

The students showed ownership when they watched their robot follow the commands that THEY programmed!

This robot would be a fantastic addition to our classroom. We would use this robot and iPad program as a center in our math/science classroom. Students would have the opportunity to create new codes for the class robot to follow and learn how to solve problems they encounter.
