This project will reach 75 second grade students that I have the opportunity to work with every day. My students are learning how to be responsible, respectful, and kind citizens. We are in need of 2 iPad minis to use in math centers and for 'digital storytelling' with science concepts. Our school is striving for new and innovative techniques using technology to gain student success. These iPads will increase my students' engagement and excitement about their learning. I was recently given one iPad for my classroom. Even some of the students who have been struggling and disconnect themselves from the lessons began engaging in our content. When I told them I would ask donors for two more iPads they were so excited about the possibilities in our classroom.
