Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At school we have a school store open to all students that earn points for good behavior. These students can spend their points on a variety of different things, such as: snacks, tee shirts, basketballs, school supplies, jewelry, etc. We used a computer program that would calculate their scores and keep track of purchases, but we have decided to make changes.

We will be using printed paper money for students to spend at the store, so that students may increase their math skills and financial literacy.

We hope that these items will help in transitioning us to this new era of rewarding positive student behaviors.
