My Project

The students are curious, creative, and eager to learn through hands-on experiences that allow them to explore the world around them. Many of these students learn best when they can build, touch, create, and problem-solve in meaningful ways. By adding 3D printers, filament, and design tools to our school, students will have opportunities to transform their ideas into real objects while strengthening skills in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, creativity, and collaboration. The filament supplies will allow students to continuously create and revise projects, while the tools and software will help them safely design, assemble, and improve their work. These experiences encourage perseverance, critical thinking, and confidence as students learn that mistakes are simply part of the design process.

This project will transform our school into an interactive STEM learning environment where students become creators instead of simply consumers of technology.

My goal is to provide students with opportunities to engage in real world problem solving and project based learning that prepares them for future careers and lifelong learning. Students will use the 3D printers to create models for math and science lessons, design solutions to classroom and community challenges, and explore engineering concepts in exciting, age appropriate ways. Through these activities, students will strengthen communication, teamwork, and innovation skills while developing a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.

What makes our students especially unique is their resilience, imagination, and excitement when given opportunities to learn in new ways. Many of them have limited access to advanced technology and STEM experiences outside of school, making classroom opportunities even more meaningful. They are incredibly motivated when learning feels interactive and purposeful. With your support, my students will gain access to tools that inspire creativity, encourage exploration, and help them believe that their ideas and inventions truly matter.
