Rid Student Blues with Some Scholastic News

Help me give my students more exposure to literacy. These Scholastic magazines will help engage students in relevant topics while practicing those beginning literacy skills.

My Project

All of our students deserve the chance to connect literacy to the world around them and take that home to share with parents. Providing students with some Scholastic magazines would support students who are practicing those beginning literacy skills, such as: reading left to right, using pictures to help read the words, and sounding out simple words. Practicing those skills is vital to students going off to Kindergarten because Kindergarten builds upon these skills.

Also, sending these magazines home will help build the school-family relationship.

At home, these magazines would help students practice those vital literacy skills, build language skills, and spend quality time together with their families. Overall, these magazines would be very beneficial to our students!
